Getting Started

WashLab® is a mobile laundry and dry-cleaning service based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We're proud to be Sri Lanka’s first and only contactless laundry and dry-cleaning service, having assisted over 1,000 customers during our initial launch.

WashLab® offers comprehensive laundry services to meet all your needs, including dry cleaning, wet cleaning, hand washing, bulk washing, air drying, steam pressing, ironing, tumble drying, stain removal, shoe cleaning, and bag cleaning.

Simply have your clothes ready. Our Wash Partner will provide a WashLab® bag pack for your loose clothes. Use our app to select the services you need, and our driver can assist in setting up your bags.

Using our WashLab® app, simply sign up, enter your address, and choose pickup and drop-off times that suit you. Our Wash Partner will provide bags for you to fill and apply WashTags indicating the type of service needed—Homecare, Wash & Fold, Clean & Press, or Press Only.

No, you don’t have to be home. We provide a unique code for your family or doorman to give to our delivery partner, who will release your clothing. Alternatively, you can specify a preferred delivery time range.

Currently, we operate in Colombo, Sri Lanka. If you'd like our services in your area, please fill out the "WashLab Service Region form" on our website.

Currently, we do not accept cash on delivery as we process all our payments contactless method via the WashLab® app or Bank Transfer.

Yes, you can cancel and place a new order at a more convenient time, as long as your initial order hasn’t been picked up yet, if your order has already been picked up you can reschedule your delivery time (Max – 4 hours in advance).

Yes, you can cancel your order before it’s picked up.

Our standard turnaround time is 48 hours. You can opt for next-day delivery for a 50% surcharge.

When placing an order, you are not required to add the amount of laundry you want to send. All you have to do is order a pickup through the app, and leave as many bags of laundry as you want for cleaning.

Yes, you can track the status of your order in real-time through the WashLab app. Updates on pickup, cleaning, and delivery are provided.

Cleaning

Yes, we do. Unlike many other laundries in Sri Lanka, we use a unique air-drying process that helps clothes last longer and maintain their texture better than machine drying.

Our specialist dry cleaners use high-quality equipment and leading stain removal products for dry cleaning items. Sadly, while we aren’t magicians we can’t guarantee removal of ALL stains, we promise to do our best. Please indicate any specific stains via our app or to our Wash Partner.

Yes, WashLab is committed to sustainability. We offer eco-friendly detergents and processes, and we encourage reusable bags for deliveries.

Absolutely! You can leave special instructions regarding delicate fabrics, specific folding methods, or any other preferences through our app.

Pricing & Billing

No, there’s no minimum order size. Whether you have a single item or a full load, WashLab® is here to help.

WashLab® accepts payments through our app via credit/debit card or mobile payment methods like e-wallets.

You'll receive an itemised receipt via email once your order is successfully delivered. If you have any concerns, please contact us via email or our Quick Action Hotline.

Yes, we periodically offer discounts and promotions to our loyal customers. Stay updated through our app or website for the latest offers.

Reimbursement

Yes, your clothes are insured against damages while they are in our possession. We take utmost care to handle your items responsibly. However, you will be requited by our WashLab® rulebook to let us know if any items have any pre-existing issues or washing guidelines if not followed it would render your claim null and void.
